            These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Yorkshire Wedding Invites and Engraving Ltd’s Website, Facebook page, Instagram and Etsy Store. Yorkshire Wedding Invites and Engraving Ltd is located at: Unit 5 Swinton Yard, Rowms Lane, Swinton, South Yorkshire – S64 8AE, United Kingdom.

                        By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use Yorkshire Wedding Invites and Engraving Ltd’s websites or pages or stores if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

            The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing the websites and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves.


We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. If a revision is required we will try to provide at least 21 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website or Facebook pages and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion.


All orders that you place with Yorkshire Wedding Invites and Engraving Ltd will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions. All requests/orders for wedding stationery or engraved items are subject to availability and it is vital that you contact us to discuss your requirements and a suitable available production slot. We are willing to book production slots up to 2 years in advance. Production slots will only be allocated when a non-refundable 50% booking fee is paid.

Please ensure that all information supplied for stationery and engraving is provided typed in Microsoft word, over Facebook messenger to our page or over email to info@yorkshireweddinginvites.co.uk and accurate to the best of your knowledge, to minimise spelling errors. Information required for on the day stationery is required 6 weeks prior to your wedding date unless discussed and agreed with us.


A non refundable 50% booking fee is due at the time of booking of your production slot/date. The remaining balance will be required 4 weeks before production commences. For large orders we are happy to discuss possible payment options subject to our agreement. For any orders where completion of the order is less than 10 weeks from the booking date full payment will be required when booking.


After deposit /payment, an electronic copy of your order will be sent and a wording proof will be sent for approval before your production slot.

It is you (the clients) responsibility to ensure all information, layout, colouring, spelling dates etc is correct.

We make every effort to check wording documents, however mistakes can be made, however if items are checked and signed off by you with errors and subsequently printed, Yorkshire Wedding Invites and Engraving Ltd takes no responsibility and reprints or remaking stationery will be subject to charges.

We supply up to two wording samples for each aspect of your stationery order, any further wording proof samples or changes required will be charged at £5.00 each. If you require a hard copy of your invite posted out to you before we commence work on your full order this will be chargeable at £15 per sample.

Colours on photographs or printed items can vary on computer screens compared to real life. Although we make every effort to match colours of card and ribbons to your requirements due to the differences in manufacturing these items this is not always possible. If you require a specific colour match for your stationery please contact us directly.


Yorkshire Wedding Invites and Engraving Ltd can not accept any responsibility for colour and texture variations that occasionally occur. Yorkshire Wedding Invites and Engraving Ltd reserves the right to substitute an element of a product with a suitable alternative should an item in a design become discontinued or unavailable, however we will always consult you of any changes required.

All of our products are handmade and as such there may be slight variations from product to product. This is not deemed as a fault. All of our products are made using the best quality materials available and made to a high standard, however some components are delicate, as such they should be handled with care from the customer.

All stationery, artwork and designs are the copyright of Yorkshire Wedding Invites and Engraving Ltd. All rights reserved. You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use any material (for example poems and hymns in your Order of Service or photography/imagery on bespoke stationery) you ask us to include in your stationery.

We reserve the right to feature your stationery, designs and descriptions of it on any promotional material website, facebook, Etsy or other online sales/marketing sites, however we will not disclose your personal details for your wedding.


When booking your stationery or engraved items with Yorkshire Wedding Invites and Engraving Ltd you will receive a production slot date, this is the date we aim to begin work on your order. Depending on the size and complexity of your order completion is usually 7-14 days from commencing production. Every effort is made to get orders processed and sent as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, these timings may change due to circumstances beyond our control, but we will always keep you updated on your order.


Delivery of single samples and small parcels will be via Royal Mail First Class Recorded to the UK and Northern Ireland. Larger parcels and all table plans are dispatched with a courier, UPS or DPD.  For all overseas orders P&P will be calculated based on your cocation and weight of your order.

Please note we do not post out table plans on mirrors, for anyone wishing to have a mirrored table plan please collect from our Mexborough shop or alternatively we can make the cards for you to attach to your own mirror.

Every effort is made on our part to ensure that parcels are sent and delivered safely and on time. If the parcel is delayed or lost we will do all possible to locate or replace the stationery. If, however, delay or loss of “on the day” stationery orders results in it being useless for its original purpose Yorkshire Wedding Invites and Engraving Ltd accepts no liability for any cost additional to that of replacements. Where Yorkshire Wedding Invites and Engraving Ltd performs to its obligations to rectify defective/lost orders under this condition you will not be entitled to any further claim in respect of the work done nor will you be entitled to treat delivery thereof as a ground for denying validity of the contract, failing to pay for the work or cancelling further deliveries. Yorkshire Wedding Invites and Engraving Ltd takes no responsibility for damage caused by parcels being left for period of time at sorting offices or deliveries. We are not responsible for and delays caused by failed delivery attempts.


As all orders are personalised with the customers’ individual details and design requirements, replacements will only be offered if the order is faulty/damaged. This does not affect your statutory rights. On receipt of your items, please thoroughly inspect for any defects and inform us within 48 hours.

If your order arrives damaged please take photographs and contact us, photographs will be used to allow us to claim compensation from the courier and understand clearer what damage has been caused. We may require the damaged items and original packaging to be returned to us, in this situation the client is to pay for recorded delivery and post the items back to us, on receipt of the damaged items we will refund the postage cost. Please note any items found to be deliberately damaged/defaced or altered in any way will be exempt of any replacements.


Cancellation of order will be subject to any costs incurred and the full order will be charged if the order has been signed off and printed. Except in cases of a manufacturing defect we do not accept returns of personalised items. We must be notified of defective goods within seven working days. Defective goods must be returned to us by recorded post. We will reimburse postage costs upon receipt of defective goods we will contact the customer to arrange a replacement or refund.

Covid 19 Or Other Pandemics

In the event of Covid 19 or any other pandemic where the government enforces lockdowns or closures of wedding venues we will do our best to assist you with any change of date. Every case will be dealt with individually and may be subject to fees. Refunds minus the booking fee will only be given to customers who’s weddings are unable to go ahead due to government guidelines and no work has begun.
